Meet Ryan

My passion is working with my clients. Helping them understand what is most important to them, and then helping them achieve their goals both in the short and long term. I love getting to know my clients on the deepest level, which is vital to understanding what is truly important to them. From there, I constantly strive to better my clients, and their family's position in any way possible. Investigating improper advice and working with clients impacted by the GFC early in my career, highlighted to me the importance of sound, reliable advice, and long term commitment when things get tough. My business, Sound Strategies, focuses on long term, goals based investing and planning, ensuring you, the client, remain the centre of focus at all times.

My passion is building relationships with clients, getting to know what is important to them and understand the why. No one client is alike, allowing me to have in-depth conversations to gain an understanding of what their goals are and help support them in achieving them. As a financial planner it is a privilege to be in a position where I get to help clients and their families, regardless of what stage of life they are at. I love that I get to hear about their families, their passions and their retirement dreams.  Being in the industry for over 20 years I have seen the financial planning profession experience significant changes, however the one constant over the journey has always been the client relationships, the sense of being part of the journey with them and their families, and supporting them not just with financial matters. I am excited to have joined Ryan at Sound Strategies, and I am looking forward to not only continuing to support my existing clients but to forming rewarding relationships with new ones.   With Sound Strategies being a client focused business, I look forward to the role I play helping clients to live their best life.
